As executive director of KHOL, Jackson Hole’s public radio station, I’ve led the organization’s transformation into an award-winning newsroom, recognized by the Edward R. Murrow Awards, the Society of Professional Journalists, PMJA, and LION Publishers. I’ve stewarded the station through a 400%+ increase in revenue, memberships and engagement.

While I manage strategy, partnerships and growth, what drives me most is impactful reporting. I love finding delightfully unexpected stories and crafting them into compelling narratives. I’ve also broken major stories—perhaps most notably the Daniel, Wyoming wolf incident, where a wolf was run over by a snowmobile, muzzled and brought into a bar. The story gained national and even international attention and led to legislative discussions at both the state and federal levels. It also won a 2025 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Breaking News.

Facets: Voices of the Mountain Life

This limited-run series explores the complex relationship between humans and the natural world of Jackson Hole. In five episodes, Facets explores how we can heal in the outdoors as well as how we can harm the environment we so love. These stories reveal how a new business is learning to work with the environment, the tensions between conservation and recreation, and more. I created and produced the series, and reported two of the five episodes. The podcast took home the 2022 “product of the year” award from LION Publishers, a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award, as well as second place in the Society of Professional Journalists "Top of The Rockies" awards.
